Little Shop of Horrors
April 23 - May 2, 2010

Presented at the Fred Kavli Theatre

A down-and-out floral assistant becomes an overnight sensation when he discovers an exotic plant with a special talent... an insatiable appetite for fresh blood. “Audrey II” grows into an ill-tempered, R&B-singing plant that offers him fame and fortune in exchange for feeding its growing appetite, finally revealing itself to be an alien creature preparing for global domination! One of the longest-running Off-Broadway shows of all time, this affectionate spoof of 1950s sci-fi movies has become a household name, thanks to a highly successful film version and a score by the songwriting team of Howard Ashman and Alan Menken, who redefined the animated musical film with Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Beauty And The Beast, and Aladdin. Charming, tuneful, and hilarious, with tongue firmly planted in cheek, Little Shop of Horrors never fails to entertain.

Cabrillo Music Theatre has replaced its spring show with the famed musical Little Shop of Horrors.  All previously purchased tickets for How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying will be transferred to Little Shop of Horrors. Cinderella
July 23 - August 1, 2010

Presented at the Fred Kavli Theatre

Be dazzled with the magic only CINDERELLA can bring. A pumpkin swooshes across the stage, turning into a carriage... mice scurry along on their way to becoming horses... and an innocent young woman named Cinderella turns into a beautiful fairy princess. CINDERELLA will make “impossible things” happen right before your very eyes on stage, delighting children, enchanting adults. CINDERELLA’s memorable score includes In My Own Little Corner, It’s Possible, Ten Minutes Ago, and Do I Love You Because You’re Wonderful. Cabrillo is delighted to bring to the stage that Rodgers and Hammerstein classic... CINDERELLA! Adding her own special magic to Cabrillo’s production is “All In The Family” comedienne, Sally Struthers, as “The Fairy Godmother.” Recommended for families and all audiences.
