The cast of MATILDA The Musical celebrated Valentines Day in a pretty special rehearsal moment last night…⁣

Director Lewis Wilkenfeld says: “Each kid has a buddy among the adult cast, and we can pair them up for certain activities. I hope it will lead to positive role modeling…..Meaning the kids will show the adults how to act professional!”⁣ 😄

The adults surprised their buddies with Valentines goodies last night, and lots of LOVE was felt by all! It’s been less than a week, but our cast is already a wonderful family. We hope you all had beautiful Valentine’s celebrations with the ones YOU love! ⁣

Meet the cast of DREAMGIRLS IN CONCERT: Lynette DuPree as “Effie”! ⁣

Ms. DuPree starred on Broadway in “Bring in da Noise, Bring in da Funk” with Savion Glover, “Smokey Joe’s Café” and “Truly Blessed”, the Mahalia Jackson Story. Off-Broadway: “Mama I want to Sing” and “Generations” for Ruby Dee and Ossie Davis Jr. Upon moving to Los Angeles, Ms DuPree began her television and film career with episodes of Law and Order, Scandal, How to get away with murder, Southland, Angie Tribecca, Everybody hates Chris, Anger Management, Grace and Frankie, Heartbeat, Mike and Molly, Shameless, The Goldbergs, Extant, NYPD Blue, The Mindy Project and many others. Film credits include “Their Eyes were Watching God”, “Random Hearts” and “Harlem Aria”. Alongside her busy film and television career and forever a fan of the “Live Experience”, Lynette DuPree and The Divas of Soul are performing in the city of Los Angeles and on both the national and International stage.⁣
